Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was as a captain and a participant of the 2012 Fierce Five and the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics she took gold in both team floor as well as the individual events. The bronze medal was awarded by her balance bar. It made her the Olympic gymnast who won the most medals. In 2016, the Olympics included her winning a gold at the team competition, which earned Gabby and Gabby the honor as the first Americans to ever win consecutive gold medals for a team. In addition, she was awarded silver medals at the individual all-around and for floor exercise. The three years that passed between her two Olympic Games, she took a break. Additionally, she was among the gold-winning American teams at two World Championships. She began learning gymnastics when she was two and her most favorite sport is floor exercises. Aly is a part of The Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization in honor and memory of her mother. Aly is planning to pursue a career as a designer. Her future goals include growing her collection of leotards. Fierce is due to be released later this summer.
